Those in Texas at the end of next month should check out the Frightmare Weekend, which is set to run from April 30 to May 2. Those kind folks at Horrornews.net have announced that they will be that they will be hosting the panels at the event, which will be presented by both Rue Morgue and Anchor Bay Entertainment. Billed as ‘The Southwest’s Premier Horror Convention,’ this year’s Frightmare will include appearances from Elvira, George A. Romero, Adam Green and several veterans of the Friday the 13th franchise (including Kane Hodder, Derek Means and Betsy Palmer).

‘Horrornews.net’s Podcast From Hell team will be conducting the question and answer sessions,’ the site has announced. ‘Dai Green and John Torrani will bring each panel discussion straight to hell with their quick wit and always entertaining antics that has made their podcast not only a fan favorite but a celebrity favorite as well. Dai and John will make sure that The Texas Frightmare fans get their voices heard by the guest while asking all the hard hitting questions that make The Podcast From Hell the best and most notorious podcast in horror.’

Horrornews.net has become a major success over the last couple of years, with Dai Green acting as the face of the site (check out our interview with the Managing Editor here). As well as the site itself, they have also been entertaining horror fans on podcasts and Blog Talk Radio. ‘Dai and John are huge horror fans with an encyclopedic knowledge of the horror genre and can’t wait to meet the Texas Horror Crowd and bring a new and exciting element to the already amazing convention.’
