Filmmaker Richard Griffin has given us a heads-up regarding the recent DVD release of his 2006 feature Pretty Dead Things, which comes from Scorpio Film Releasing, the company responsible for his subsequent flicks Beyond the Dunwich Horror and Nun of That.

Griffin’s flick tells of Jennifer Bond (Danielle Lozeau), a young adult actress whose taste for human blood has given her everlasting youth. But as she grows older she feels her glory days are slipping by and decides that her only way to survive in the industry is by launching a comeback.

Griffin and his band of collaborators have made a name for themselves over the last few years with a string of low budget classics and Pretty Dead Things is no exception.

Co-written by Sandeep Parikh (The Legend of Neil) and starring the likes of Patrick Pitu (The Education of Charlie Banks) and Robin Watkins (Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead).

Pretty Dead Things is now available from Amazon.com and Scorpio Film Releasing’s official site.
